Flying Dutchmen Kicker Lauded By MIAA

Hope kicker Evan Finch has been chosen the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Special Teams Player of the Week for games through October 26.

The senior from Ann Arbor (Pioneer HS) kicked field goals of 21 and 31 yards and added three extra points in Hope’s 27-17 win over Kalamazoo.

Finch now has nine field goals on the season. He is one short of matching the school record shared by Doug Cooper (1986) and Duy Dang (1987).

Finch is being honored as Player of the Week for the second time this season and in his career.
