Hope women’s tennis coach Adam Ford has been recognized by the Racquet Sports Industry magazine as a 30-under-30 rising star in the industry.

Ford has been the head tennis pro at DeWitt Center Center since 2010. He holds the highest rankings in the Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) and the United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA).

Ford has developed seven highly ranked juniors in the United States Tennis Association’s Midwest Section. He was named PTR Michigan Pro of the Year in 2011.

Ford was one of the youngest coaches to pass the USA High Performance Certification Program. He is the founder and owner of Baseline Video LLC that makes tennis-related videos for the industry.

Ford guided the Flying Dutch to a Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) women’s tennis championship and NCAA Division III Tournament appearance last spring.

“Adam is an incredible success in the tennis industry, and a rising star who will make a lasting impact in this business,” said Jorge Capestany, DeWitt Tennis Center manager.
