Thomas Renner, who retired at the end of December as associate vice president for public and community relations at Hope College, will present “Through the Lens: Highlights of my 47 years at Hope” on Tuesday, April 1, at 7 p.m. in Winants Auditorium of Graves Hall.

The public is invited.  Admission is free.

The illustrated presentation will feature some of Renner’s favorite photos and the stories behind them. Renner, who joined the Hope staff in 1967, developed and directed the college’s overall program in public and community relations, which includes the college’s news, sports information and media relations programs; community programming such as Community Day and Winter Happening; college home web pages; and multiple publications.  A member of the college’s Class of 1967, he has taken an estimated 500,000 photographs featuring the people, places and events of Hope during his association with the college.

Graves Hall is located at 263 College Ave., between 10th and 12th streets.
