Two members of the Hope College women's track & field team have qualified for the 2014 NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships — senior Sheri McCormack of Holland, Michigan (West Ottawa HS) and sophomore Jane Pearson of Lake City, Michigan (Northern Michigan Christian HS).

Two members of the Hope College women's track & field team have qualified for the 2014 NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships — senior Sheri McCormack of Holland, Michigan (West Ottawa HS) and sophomore Jane Pearson of Lake City, Michigan (Northern Michigan Christian HS).

The Division III Championships are May 22-24 in Delaware, Ohio.

McCormack will run in the 1,500 meters on Thursday. She is seeded fifth with a time of 4 minutes, 31.82 seconds. The top seed time of 4:20.80 belongs to Christy Cassola of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.

McCormack is Hope's record holder in the 1,500 meters. This is her third trip to nationals.

Pearson will compete in the heptathlon on Thursday and Friday. She is seeded 11th with a score of 4,530 points. The top seed score of 5,132 points belongs to Amelia Campbell at Carleton.

This is Pearson's first trip to nationals.
