Tarwo Konbloa

Two Hope College men’s soccer players have earned all-region honors from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America: senior Tarwo Konbloa and sophomore Josh Hagene.

Both players were on the NSCAA/Continental Tire’s All-Central Region Second Team.

Konbloa is a midfielder from Kentwood, Michigan (East Kentwood HS). He scored four goals this season and earned All-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association First Team honors.

Hagene is a forward from Caledonia, Michigan (East Kentwood HS). He led the Flying Dutchmen with 10 goals and 22 points this season. He also finished fifth in the MIAA in goals scored.

Hagene claimed All-MIAA Second Team honors.

Hope posted a 13-7-1 record during the 2014 season. It was the Flying Dutchmen’s 16th consecutive season with double-digit wins.
