The Hope College Student Concert Series will feature Gungor, The Brilliance, and Hope College Chapel Band in performance on Saturday, Jan. 10, at 8:30 p.m. in Dimnent Memorial Chapel.

In this concert, Michael Gungor (of Gungor), David Gungor (brother of Michael and part of the Brilliance), and members of the Hope College Chapel Band will come together in the creative process.

Gungor’s work has received several Grammy and Dove Award nominations. Originally from Wisconsin, and now living in Colorado, Michael Gungor served as worship pastor at Resurrection Life Church in Grandville for nearly five years and began producing his albums while working there in 2002.

Younger brother David Gungor has been leading another group, The Brilliance, and they have been combining performances on their current tour. The instrumentation includes a variety of typical contemporary voices such as piano, drums, and guitar but will also feature an eclectic blend of cellos, violins, and auxiliary percussion.

Tickets are now on sale at the Events and Conference office in the Anderson-Werkman building (100 E. Eighth St.).  Prices for students, faculty/staff, and community are $10, $15, $25 respectively.
