Sophomore Harrison Blackledge scored a team-high 24 points for the Hope College men's basketball team in an 83–77 loss at Calvin on Wednesday in Grand Rapids.

The Flying Dutchmen saw their season-high, six-game win streak snapped in the 190th game in The Rivalry. Hope fell to 13–7 overall and out of a first-place tie in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association play with a 6–3 league record.

Hope still leads the all-time series by a 98–92 margin. Hope returns to action on Saturday, February 7, at Albion. Tipoff is 3 pm.
