Testimonials by outstanding senior students reflecting on their experiences at Hope College will be featured during the Hope College Senior Recognition and Women of Color Celebration on Wednesday, April 8, at 5:30 p.m. in the Maas Center auditorium.

The students scheduled to speak during the dinner event are Chanae Brown of Round Lake Beach, Illinois; Amanda Porter of Williamsburg; Shirly Samuel of Umri, Maharashtra, India; and Regina Sanchez-Gonzalez of Bloomfield Hills. Also included in the evening celebration will be a recognition of all graduating students of color. The event is hosted by the college’s Office of Multicultural Education and the Dean for International and Multicultural Education.

Advance registration is required by Wednesday, April 1. Tickets are $7 for the general public, $5 for members of the college’s faculty and staff, and free for Hope students, and are available through the Office of Multicultural Education.  Open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., the office is located on the first floor of the Martha Miller Center for Global Communication, and can be e-mailed at ome@hope.edu or called at (616) 395-7867.
