Athletics
As a member of the MIAA and NCAA Division III associations, Hope College sponsors 22 varsity sports for men and women. The college is home to the 2022 NCAA Division III National Championship women’s basketball team.

Ben Zank

Hope College runner Ben Zank has been chosen to the 2015 All-MIAA Men’s Track & Field Team.

The senior from Midland, Michigan (H.H. Dow HS), is an All-MIAA selection in track & field for the first team.

Zank is one of 20 All-MIAA honorees.

Zank finished runner-up at this year’s MIAA Field Day in the 1,500 meters with a time of 3 minutes, 57.95 seconds.

Zank also placed fourth in the 5,000 meters at Field Day with a run of 15:34.12.

It is the second All-MIAA recognition of the school year for Zank. He claimed his second All-MIAA cross country recognition of his career last fall.
