Speaker and author Dawn Eden will deliver two talks at Hope College on Wednesday, Sept. 16, as part of the Saint Benedict Forum’s Catholic Speaker Series.

She will present “How Jesus’ Sacred Heart Healed My Memories” at 3 p.m. in the Fried/Hemenway Auditorium (room 135) of the Martha Miller Center for Global Communication and “Thrill of the Chaste: Finding Fulfillment While Keeping Your Clothes On” at 7 p.m. in Winants Auditorium of Graves Hall. The public is invited to both addresses, and admission is free.

Eden is the author of “Thrill of the Chaste: How to Find Fulfillment While Keeping Your Clothes On” and “My Peace I Give You: Healing Sexual Wounds with the Help of the Saints.”

The Saint Benedict Forum is an outreach of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, with which the college’s Campus Ministries program has a covenantal partnership.  Eden’s visit to campus is also co-sponsored by the college’s Counseling and Psychological Services office, Women’s and Gender Studies program, and GRACES (Growing Respect, Authentic Community, and Education on Sexuality) student organization.
