The Hope College Concert Band will perform on Thursday, Nov. 12, at 7:30 p.m. in Dimnent Memorial Chapel.

The public is invited. Admission is free.

The Concert Band will be performing a wide variety of music. The program will feature “Puszta,” by Jan Van der Roost; “Scenes from the Louvre,” by Norman Dello Joio; “The Red Balloon,” by Anne McGinty; “Air for Band,” by Frank Erickson; “Old Churches,” by Michael Colgrass; and “Russian Christmas Music,” by Alfred Reed.

The Concert Band consists of Hope students, alumni and community members from the Holland and Zeeland area. The concert will also showcase a number of student conductors from the music education program, including sophomore Katie Baldwin of Normal, Illinois; senior Caleigh Davenport of Chennai, India; junior Claire Dickson of East Dundee, Illinios; sophomore Hannah Dirkse of Cedar Grove, Wisconsin; junior Hilary Hunsberger of Fennville; sophomore Emily Ledford of Traverse City; junior Madalyn Navis of Cedar Grove, Wisconsin; and senior Matt Tallman of York, Pennsylvania.

Dimnent Memorial Chapel is located at 277 College Ave., on College Avenue at 12th Street.
