Sean Trende, who is the senior elections analyst for RealClearPolitics, will present the address “Why Trump? Why Now?” on Tuesday, April 26, at 4 p.m. at Hope College in the Fried-Hemenway Auditorium of the Martha Miller Center for Global Communication.

The public is invited.  Admission is free.

Trende is also the author of “The Lost Majority: Why the Future of Government Is Up for Grabs and Who Will Take It,” and co-author of the Almanac of American Politics 2014.  He earned a juris doctorate and a master’s in political science from Duke University, and a bachelor’s degree from Yale University, and has represented clients before the U.S. Supreme Court.

The event is sponsored by the college’s Tocqueville Forum and Department of Political Science.
