Perspective on the cultural differences between France and the United States will be shared by Lucie Gaucher, who is the French native assistant at Hope, on Monday and Tuesday, April 18 and 19, at 7 p.m. in room 1000 of the A. Paul Schaap Science Center in an event hosted by the college’s Department of Modern and Classical Languages and Global French Studies Colloquium.

The public is invited.  Admission is free.

Her remarks will be based on her personal experience as a French woman living in America. She will talk about general facts and stereotypes, but also personal assumptions.  The event will include an opportunity for discussion and questions from members of the audience.

The A. Paul Schaap Science Center is located at 35 E. 12th St., at the corner of 12th Street and College Avenue.
