The Hope College Concert Band will perform on Thursday, Nov. 10, at 7:30 p.m. in the Concert Hall of the Jack H. Miller Center for Musical Arts.

The public is invited. Admission is free.

The program will include a wide variety of works, by composers including Whitacre, Prokofiev, Lauridsen, Offenbach, Ticheli, Grice, King, Bilik, Cross and Grainger.

The Concert Band consists of Hope students, alumni and community members from the Holland and Zeeland area.  The concert will also showcase a number of student conductors from the music education program, including junior Katie Baldwin of Normal, Illinois; sophomore Katherine Beaudoin of Milford; sophomore Genevieve DeHart of Hudsonville; senior Claire Dickson of East Dundee, Illinois; junior Hannah Dirkse of Cedar Grove, Wisconsin; sophomore Matt Gilbert of Whitehall; senior Hilary Hunsberger of Fennville; junior Emily Ledford of Traverse City; and senior Madalyn Navis of Cedar Grove, Wisconsin.

The Jack H. Miller Center for Musical Arts is located at 221 Columbia Ave., between Ninth and 10th streets.
