Hope College’s Nicholas Salomon has been chosen the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Outdoor Men’s Track Athlete of the Week for competition between March 20-25.
The senior from Troy, Michigan (Detroit Jesuit HS) is honored for the second time
in outdoor men’s track & field after finishing second in a field of 36 runners at
the Emory Classic on Saturday in Atlanta, Georgia.
Salomon clocked a time of 1 minute, 53.11 seconds. He ranks fourth in NCAA Division
III and first in the MIAA.
Salomon previously claimed MIAA Track Athlete of the Week honors as a sophomore.
