Move-in day, Friday, August 26, is when your journey at Hope really begins.

Student carrying a box on Move-In DayThere is road construction happening throughout Holland! Please plan your time accordingly as there may be delays or detours.

The residence halls will open at 10 a.m.  People will direct you to unloading zones, and Orientation Assistants wearing orange shirts will be available to help you move in. Please have all of your belongings labeled with your name and room number.

All Orientation packets for students and families can be picked up as you check in to your residence hall. For new students who are not living in a hall, orientation packets can be picked up in the DeWitt Center lobby.

New Student Orientation headquarters for the weekend are in the DeWitt Center lobby. If you have questions at any point, Orientation team members will be available in DeWitt to help.

We couldn’t be more excited to have you finally here on campus with us. If you find yourself feeling confused or overwhelmed at any point throughout the weekend, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your resident assistant or anyone on the Orientation staff. We are here for you.
