Enjoy a Jam-Packed
Day of Hometown Fun
One ticket gets you into four Hope College sporting events and also includes a traditional picnic on DeVos Fieldhouse lawn as well as admission to Windmill Island Gardens.


· Windmill Island Gardens will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Bring your ticket stub to Windmill Island for free admission all day Saturday.

· Flying Dutch Volleyball hosts Thiel College, Pa. DeVos Fieldhouse, 222 Fairbanks Ave., 10 a.m.

· Cross Country hosts Vanderbilt Invitational, Ridge Point Church, 340 104th Ave., 10:30 a.m.

· Flying Dutchmen Football hosts Illinois Wesleyan Titans, Holland Municipal Stadium, 16th Street & Fairbanks Ave., 1:30 p.m.

· Community Day Picnic, DeVos Fieldhouse lawn, 222 Fairbanks Ave., 4-6 p.m.

· Flying Dutchmen Soccer hosts Bergmsa Tournament, Milwaukee School of Engineering, Van Andel Stadium, 225 Fairbanks Ave., 6 p.m

  • Bring your ticket stub to Windmill Island for free admission all day Saturday.

  • Enjoy this arboretum’s 36 acres of manicured gardens, dikes, and canals, Tour "De Zwaan", the 250-year-old operating Dutch windmill, ride the antique carousel, visit the Posthouse museum and shop at the unique Windmill Island stores.


    Additional Information

  • Community Day Tickets, which include the picnic, Windmill Island admission, volleyball, football and soccer games, are $8 for adults, $4 for children 5-11, and free for children under 5.

  • Advance tickets may be purchased at the college’s Ticket Office, located in the DeVos Fieldhouse, 222 Fairbanks Avenue.

  • The Ticket Office is open Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  • Tickets may be ordered by calling 616-395-7890. Mastercard and Visa are accepted.

  • The Ticket Office will also be open on Saturday, September 4, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Any remaining tickets can be purchased Saturday, September 4, under the blue tent in the DeVos Fieldhouse parking lot, beginning at 3 p.m.

  • Rain location will be at Phelps Hall, corner of 10th St. and Columbia.

    Information for Hope Students

  • It's all FREE to students using your meal card. It's also the only campus meal being served during the dinner hour.

  • If you're not on a meal plan, your ID will get you into Windmill Island as well as the volleyball, football and soccer games. Tickets for the picnic are $8 per person for anyone not on a meal plan.

  • Rain location will be at Phelps Hall, corner of 10th St. and Columbia.
