Coach Wes
Wooley
Under the leadership of coach Wes Wooley, the Hope College coed cheerleading program has continued its tradition as one of the nation’s best among small colleges. The squad regularly receives honors at the regional and national levels. Wooley is product of the Hope cheerleading program. A 1989 Hope graduate, he was a member of the cheerleading squad for three years. Upon graduation he served as an assistant to Maxine DeBruyn. He has been head coach since 1996. Wooley is a self-employed graphic artist. He and his wife Nancy have a daughter, Carissa and son, Connor.
