Flying Dutchmen Finish Ninth Nationals
The Flying Dutchmen finished ninth at the 16-team American Collegiate Hockey
Association national tournament in Rochester, N.Y. Coach Chris Van Timmeren's
Dutchmen posted a 2-2 record in their eighth appearance at the national competition.
The team ended 19-8-1-1 for the season.

Conference Allstar Game (1/3/09)
Seven Hope players played on the West team in the Michigan Collegiate Hockey Conference Allstar game in Midland, Mich. on Saturday, Jan. 3rd. The East won the game 10-5. Representing Hope were Ryan Kelly, Matt Schrader, Austin Sonneveldt, Dan Bolt, Zach White, Jake Dickinson and Mike Headley. Ryan Kelly had two goals and Mike Headley had a shutout in the first period (each goalie played only one period).
