Hall of Fame Classic. Hope has won both games on Calvin's court, 76-54 in 2006 and 79-76 in 2009.

teams have met 11 times in the MIAA tournament since it began in
1992. The Flying Dutchmen own a 9-2 advantage and are 8-1 when the game determined
the tournament champion.

teams have met six times in the NCAA playoffs with Calvin winning

owned a 33-16 advantage in games played at the Calvin College (Knollcrest)
Fieldhouse from 1965-66 thru 2007-08. Hope won the final game at Knollcrest
between the teams on 1/26/08 by 79-76. Calvin moved into its new VanNoord
Arena for the 2008-09 season. The teams split in two games played
there in the inaugural year, Calvin by 63-62 in the regular season
matchup and Hope by 69-59 in the championship game of the MIAA conference
tournament. Hope leads 4-2 at Van Noord through the 10-11 season.

hosted Calvin at the Holland Civic Center for 51 years (1954-55 thru
2004-05), Hope owning a 31-24 advantage.
- Hope
moved to the its Richard and Helen DeVos Fieldhouse for the 2005-06
season. Hope won the first meeting 73-55 and again in an NCAA tournament
game 70-67. Through the first game of the 2011-12 season, Hope is 7-4
versus Calvin at DeVos. Hope's only losses at DeVos Fieldhouse in its
first three years were to Calvin.
- Calvin
owns a 3-2 advantage when the game is played on a neutral floor. The
most recent neutral floor game occurred in 2007 with Hope defeating
Calvin 80-64 in the second round of the NCAA tournament at Aurora,
Ill.
- The
January 29, 1997 game at Van Andel Arena in downtown Grand Rapids,
a 70-56 Hope triumph, established an NCAA Division III single game
attendance record with a capacity crowd of 11,442.
