Hope College Music Faculty to Perform Oct. 29
HOLLAND - The Hope College Music faculty will perform a variety of chamber pieces on Sunday, Oct. 29, at 3 p.m. in Wichers Auditorium of Nykerk Hall of Music.
The public is invited. Admission is free.
Julie Sooy, flute, will perform "Be Still My Soul (Melody from Jean Sibelius)," by Rhonda Larson. Jonathan Holden, clarinet, will perform "Caprice for Clarinet Solo," by Anders Koppel, and "Variations on Greensleeves for Clarinet and Piano," by Robert Lunn, a guitar instructor at Hope College and composer. Other pieces will be included on the program as well.
Nykerk Hall of Music is located between College and Columbia avenues along the former 12th Street.
