Hope Places Three on All-Region Softball Team

Hope College has placed two players on the Division III Central All-Region team.

Shortstop Kelly Kraft, a junior from Brown City/ Brown City HS, was voted to the all-region second team while senior pitcher Andrea Adams of Fairgrove/Akron-Fairgrove HS received third team recognition.

Both players were named to the All-MIAA team this spring. This is the second year that Adams is being honored at the all-region level.

Kraft led Hope in batting this spring with a .432 average, including three homeruns. Adams posted a 12-7 record and established a single season mark for the lowest earned run average (0.89). She also established a Hope career mark for strikeouts (398).
