For the third time in her career, Hope senior Lacey Wicksall of Traverse City (TC Central HS) is headed to the NCAA Division III national championship tournament.
Wicksall is one of 10 individual golfers selected to join players from 10 teams in the four-day 72-hole tournament from May 11-14 at the Golf Courses of Lawsonia in Green Lake, Wisc.
A three-time All-MIAA golfer, Wicksall competed at nationals in 2001 and 2002. A year ago she was studying in an off-campus program.
In 2001 she was voted the Division III national freshman of the year after achieving All-America honors with a 15th place finish. In 2002 she finished 22nd at the national tournament.
