Awards for performance on Hope's Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) champion men's golf team have been announced by coach Bob Ebels.
The Flying Dutchmen this fall captured their fourth conference championship in five years.
Junior Ryan Shedd of Coldwater, Mich. (Coldwater HS) was voted the team's most valuable player while senior Jeff Melville of Grandville, Mich. (Jenison HS) was presented the captain's award.
Captains of the 2004 team will be Ryan Shedd and junior Kody Taylor of Greenville, Mich. (Greenville HS).
