Freshman Erin Dargis of Geneva, Ill. (Geneva Community HS) was named the team's most improved player while sophomore Lauren Stieper of Dearborn, Mich. (Dearborn HS) was honored as the most inspirational.

Elected captains of the 2004 team were Gillam, sophomore Tess Scholz of Portage, Mich. (Portage Northern HS), and senior Catie Neidlinger of Marshall, Mich. (Marshall HS). The three were also captains of this year's team.
