RAYMOND RODRIGUEZ JOINS HOPE STAFF AS ATHLETIC TRAINER
HOLLAND -- Raymond Rodriguez has been appointed athletic trainer and assistant professor of kinesiology at Hope College. He will be responsible for teaching in the college's athletic training major and will join Dr. Richard Ray, also an athletic trainer, in providing health care services to injured Hope College students. Rodriguez has served as head athletic trainer and adjunct in physical education at the Florida Institute of Technology since 1989. He was the college's first full time athletic trainer. The NCAA Division II institution provided 11 intercollegiate sports for men and women. He previously served as an athletic trainer at the University of North Carolina-Asheville, New England College and Columbia University. He received the bachelor of arts degree from Haverford College and is a candidate for the master of science degree at Indiana State University. He is a certified examiner of the National Athletic Trainers Association.
