Awards for outstanding performance in cheerleading this past fall and captains for the 2004-2005 basketball season have been announced by coach Wes Wooley.
Senior co-captain Aaron Thomson of Sandusky, Mich. (Sandusky HS) has been chosen as the team's most valuable athlete.
Sophomore Will Huisman of Hudsonville, Mich. (Hudsonville HS) and freshman Mark Yapp of Ann Arbor, Mich. (Lutheran Westland HS), were voted co-most improved.
Selected tri-captains for the 2004-2005 basketball season were seniors Kelly Bauer of Traverse City, Mich. (Traverse City West HS), Kelly Steeves of Clarendon Hills, Ill. (Hinsdale Central HS), and Sarah Stowell of Lake Odessa, Mich. (Lakewood HS).
