(left) The Prophet Isaiah holds an open scroll and is pointing to heaven, preaching and prophesying. Isaiah is said to have declared all the world to be under God's control, warning his people that their nation would be destroyed if they turned from God.

(right) The Apostle James, son of Zebedee, has a scroll in his left hand and a walking stick in his right. His clothing is more drab than others displayed in our windows and his face suggests great solidity of character. James is known as being one of the first disciples to join Jesus.

The symbols, from left to right, The Sheaf of Wheat, The Lily, and the Anchor.
