This window was given by the “Old First” Reformed
Church of Brooklyn, N.Y. in memory of their pastor, the Rev.
John W. Van Zanten, D.D.

These windows portray the Apostle John as
a young man (right) and as an older man (left). The top
window depicts John writing the book of Revelation while
living in exile on the Greek isle of Patmos. The studious
young John in the bottom window is holding what appears
to be a leather-bound book.
