Dance [1]

Take advantage of semester study programs in Chicago, New York City, Philadelphia, and study abroad at Liverpool Hope, Querétaro (Mexico), or at Centre de Danse du Marais (Paris, France).
  • Dancers can participate in four annual student-produced concerts, an annual mainstage dance concert [2] and theatre productions.
  • Students are eligible to audition for affiliated ensembles, including dANCEpROjECt [3], InSync Dance Theatre [4] and Strike Time Dance Company [5], as well as participate in Sacred Dance [6], Ballet Club or Hip Hop Anonymous.
  • Prospective dance majors and minors can apply for the Distinguished Artist Award [7], a scholarship that is renewable up to four years.
  • Dance faculty members specialize in modern, ballet, jazz, and tap, as well as in various areas of dance theory.
  • Hope has five well-equipped dance studios and two performance venues.
  • The Department of Dance is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Dance.
