Hope freshman Elizabeth Fredericks of Yucaipa, Calif. (San Bernardino HS) achieved honorable mention All-America recognition in two events at the NCAA Division III women's swimming championships in Oxford, Ohio.

She ended the three-day meet by finishing 12th in the 200-yard butterfly. Her time of 2:08.78 was a collegiate career best. She had been seeded 14th in the event.

She also achieved honorable mention All-America status by finishing 15th in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of :59.29. She earlier in the prelims had a career-best time (:58.55). She was seeded 25th in the event.

She opened the meet by competing in the 50-yard freestyle with 37th (:24.81) place finish.
