The Hope College Symphonette will join the United Methodist Church Choir and guest artists for a concert on Good Friday, April 18, at 7 p.m. at the church, located at 57 W. 10th St.

The public is invited. Admission is free.

The program will feature music by Gabriel Faure. The concert will open with the "Pavanne" for orchestra, followed by the "Requiem."

Joining the Choir and Symphonette will be Linda Dykstra, soprano, and Dave Johnson, baritone. The concert will be conducted by Richard Piippo, professor of cello and conducting at Hope. Dave Johnson, music director at United Methodist Church, has prepared the choir.
