Transformation of Football Stadium is Completed [1]

Submitted by Tom Renner on Sun, 2012-07-01 15:08

Holland Municipal Stadium, the home of Flying Dutchmen football [2] since 1979, has undergone a transformation with the installation of artificial turf in time for the upcoming season.

The stadium is owned by the City of Holland. Hope College and the city have entered into an agreement that would allow the college to acquire the stadium.

The Flying Dutchmen open their season Saturday, Sept. 1 with the traditional home Community Day game.
