Readmission [1]

Ideally, every student who begins college at Hope will one day graduate. However, circumstances may prevent a student from attending college continually for four years.

Readmission is not automatic, but most students can begin again at Hope. Consideration for readmission includes an evaluation of:

  1. Your overall record at Hope College
  2. Additional college courses completed at other institutions
  3. Your reason(s) for wanting to return to Hope College

Please complete and return the Application for Readmission [2] (PDF) to the Admissions Office at least two weeks prior to registration.

Readmitted students must pay a $200 deposit before registering for classes. Of this amount $100 is applied to tuition, and the remainder serves as a security deposit. The $100 security deposit is refundable, minus any fees, when you graduate or withdraw.
