INFORMATION

Who Should Attend?
Any incoming first-year student who is interested in meeting with an academic advisor to discuss their course requests, as well as building relationships with students, faculty, and staff.

Your families are welcome as well!  Please note that younger siblings are very welcome to accompany parents, but we will only have specific programming geared toward incoming college students and parents.

Do I Need to Attend?  What Will I Miss if I Don’t Come?
You do not need to attend.  And you do not need to meet with an advisor prior to submitting your class registration requests.  We have lots of helpful information and tips here that many students will find quite sufficient.  Also, you are welcome to call (616-395-7760) and/or e-mail with registration questions anytime this summer.

Is this Orientation?
