The college will employ multiple methods in its assessment program. Both quantitative and qualitative measures will be used since convergent data are more trustworthy than isolated results.

The college favors a model similar to that proposed by Alexander Astin in his book Assessment for Excellence (1991), or to the model presented by Alice M. Thomas in her papers, "Using an Evaluation Model to Develop Higher Education Quality Assessment Programs" (Association of Institutional Research, 1988) and "Planning an Assessment Program" (Hope College, 1992).
