Long Distance Phone Call Problems

From about 4pm today (March 21, 2006) until around 7:30pm long distance phone calls were not working. This effected both on campus phones (2xxx, 6xxx, 7xxx) and phones on Hope's Centrex network (48xx, 46xx, 49xx) It was a problem with our carrier's equipment.
