Copying
Files from a Zip Disk to a Flash Drive
(from a Hope lab computer)
- Insert your zip disk into the zip drive and your flash drive into
an available USB port on the computer.
- From the Start button, click My Computer.
This will list the drives available.
- Click to open the zip drive.
- Select each folder/file you wish to copy to your flash drive. You
may select multiple files or folders by holding down the CTRL key as
you click on them.
- From the File and Folder Task menu on the left select Copy
the selected items. Note: If you select Move the
Files they will no longer be on
your zip disk and will only appear on your flash drive.
- From the Copy Items menu, choose the flash drive option (usually
F:).
- Choose Copy.
- When the copy is complete, close the zip drive screen and the flash
drive screen.
