NONE IN FOUR: No one deserves to be sexually assaulted. No excuses. Be a part of change.
Although some of us are not aware of it and some try to avoid talking about it, sexual assault and power-based personal violence occur at Hope College. In fact, research indicates that one in four college women have experienced sexual assault after their 14th birthday[1]. Additionally, one in 25 college men have been forced to submit to sexual intercourse against their will at some time during their lifetime[2]. You’re invited to help change those statistics in our Hope College community.

An event will be taking place Tuesday, Dec. 6th @ 7pm in Maas Auditorium. Sarah Strong, Managing Director for Not This Girl, will be speaking about her lived experience of sexual assault. A discussion panel following her speech will engage students in what we can do to help those that are victims and to prevent sexual assault and power-based personal violence.

Please come… be a part of change.
