Nicole Buono ‘93.
Nicole Buono graduated from Hope in 1993. She had a double major in International Studies and French. Nicole spent her junior year abroad in Paris, France and took classes at the Institute of European Studies. During her time at Hope Nicole played the flute in the Symphonette. She was a member of the Sigma Iota Beta sorority. She spent a May term in Washington, DC and fell in love with the DC area, where she currently resides. After Hope Nicole joined the Peace Corps and pursued a Masters degree in Public Health. She has been working internationally on maternal child health and HIV/AIDS programs ever since. She has resided in Benin, Ghana, Senegal and South Africa and traveled to another 15 African countries for her work. She currently is a Project Manager for the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation in Washington, DC.
