Senior Class Giving Campaign
Every year the senior class sponsors a giving campaign to contribute to the Hope Fund in honor of graduation.
Supporting Hope financially as an alumus is one of the most important things we can do, and it ensures the well being of the college for future students. Starting the habit of giving in our senior year is tremendously important. So skip a trip to JP's and set that money aside for future generations of Hope students like us. $10 is the suggested donation, but any amount is welcome.

Top Five Reasons to Give Back
5. We will be recognized in
the 2007-08 President's Report and the Honor Roll of Donors
on the Senior Website.
4. Our gifts will help us realize the full amount of the Challenge Grant offered by Lake Michigan Credit Union.
3. Door prizes! Make your donation by April 15 and be entered in the drawing for some really great door prizes at Senior Celebration.
2. Enhance the value of our
diplomas: the number of alumni supporting the Hope
Fund directly impacts our national ranking in such publications
as U.S. News & World
Report's "Best Colleges" edition.
1. We have been assisted by alumni donations to the Hope Fund. Now is our opportunity to step up and begin investing in the students who will come after us.
Why should I give back when I already have student loans to repay?
Believe it or not, tuition does not cover the true cost of a Hope education; it covers only about three-quarters of the cost of educating a Hope student. This means that even when you pay full tuition, now or later by repaying student loans, Hope significantly subsidizes your education. This subsidy can only be offered through the generosity of past and present donors. Hope College alumni have been giving back through the Hope Fund for decades. Your gift during Senior Class Giving makes you a part of a valued tradition of giving.
How could my small contribution make a difference when some alumni are giving thousands or even millions of dollars?
Do not underestimate the effect of your support. Every gift
members of the Class of 2008 make to Hope represent your commitment
to the college. If everyone waited until they had enough money
to make a major gift, or gave only to specific organizations,
donations from alumni would be sporadic at best, and daily
life on campus would suffer from a shortage of funding. The
lack of steady income from year to year would limit the activities
and resources available to students at Hope. Every donation,
no matter what size, makes a difference.
