For seniors not preparing to be teachers, these thirty-minute sessions
provide an overview of the services of our office, the process of registering
to use our services, as well as how to establish your letters of recommendation.

DEVELOPING YOUR PERSONAL JOB SEARCH PLAN
This workshop focuses on developing strategies needed to manage an effective
job search. Topics include the role of goal setting, methods of effective
job search organization, identifying resource materials and support systems,
use of personal networking, and setting up career information interviews.

This workshop provides the key elements to writing an effective resume
and cover letter. Issues covered include analyzing and focusing education,
work experiences, and activities to emphasize personal strengths, skills

SKILLS FOR SUCCESSFUL INTERVIEWING
This workshop covers how to interview effectively. It provides clues
on interview preparation, (e.g. identifying materials on organizations),
overcoming interview anxiety and offers suggestions on appropriate dress.
It also examines types of questions that you may be asked, as well as questions to ask the interviewer.

GRE TEST PREPARATION
The GRE (Graduate Records Exam) is required for entrance into many graduate
