Networking and the
Career Resource Network of Hope Alumni

Through the Career Resource Network of Hope alumni (CRN), you can begin to gather information about career fields and opportunities from Hope College graduates. What better place to start a career network than with people who can identify with the college and its students? To tap into the network, we suggest that you meet with Sara DeVries to discuss your networking options. With her assistance, you will gain access to contact information for alumni in your career fields of interest. Ask questions about career fields, suggestions for breaking into the field, the job search process and developing a network of professionals through an information interview. Details on preparing for and conducting information interviews are provided below.

Accessing the Career Resource Network requires a student to be prepared to meet with professionals. You will need to have clear career goals or questions in mind and have developed a resume before scheduling an appointment to access the CRN. If you have not yet completed these steps please make an appointment with a Career Services' staff member.
