This is a hands-on exercise that allows you to prioritize work values
in four areas: work environment, work content, work relationships,
and intrinsic values. This information can then be used as you assess
the
fit between various career fields and work environments and your own
needs and desires.
The Skills cardsort exercise helps you to pick out and categorize
your competencies. Through this process, you can readily identify your
skills to apply in the work place or incorporate into your
decision-making about majors or careers and
preparations
for
resume
writing and interviewing.
There is no cost for this assessment.
- To do a cardsort:
- Schedule a one-hour appointment for individual counseling by calling the
Career Development Center.
- Getting the results:
- There is no fee for this assessment and the results are immediate.
