Career Advisors

Career advisors are peer educators on the Career Services' staff. Their primary responsibilities address outreach to the campus community. Career advisors keep hours in the Office of Career Services and also visit residence halls, making themselves available to students. Give them your questions about Career Services resources, and how to get started in the career planning process. Career advisors are here to help you!

Two programs to check out that career advisors coordinate are Career Night at Phelps during first semester, and the Academic Majors Fair, happening second semester. These events are sure to be informative, and may provide just what you need to move ahead with your own decision-making about majors and careers.

If you would like to meet with a career advisor, call Career Services at 395-7950, or talk with a residence life staff person about inviting career advisors into your hall. Advisors for the 2008-2009 school year are:

Stacey Harburn, senior in management with English minor
Brittaney Delo, senior in communication/Spanish double major
Kat Majzak, senior in psychology/studio art double major
Laura Van Tassell, senior in communication/theatre double major
