Duncan, Age 11

Duncan was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) on December 2, 1996. He was 21 months old. He was on chemotherapy for over three years and was finished on January 31, 2000. Duncan was hospitalized at the DeVos Children's Hospital over 100 nights for fevers, RSV, pneumonia, and infections.

Duncan loved all his doctors, nurses, and child life coordinators. DeVos Children's Hospital made the stays enjoyable for Duncan and his family. Duncan thought of it as his second home. Duncan's parents feel blessed to have such a wonderful hospital for children.

Duncan is now eleven years old and enjoys swim team, soccer, little league, basketball, water-skiing, singing, and school. Duncan has a brother, Spencer and a little sister, Megan. Duncan's family enjoys Dance Marathon and thanks everyone for raising money for CMN.
