Dylan, Age 5

Dylan was born with a congenital heart defect. After a normal pregnancy and delivery we found out that Dylan had a heart murmur. He was transferred to DeVos Children’s Hospital and had open-heart surgery at 12 days old.
Dylan has a rare and complex heart defect and he will need future surgeries as he grows. DeVos Children’s Hospital have Dylan another chance in life and we will always be thankful for his life.

Dylan is now 5 years old and has three siblings - Brianna, Elleah, and Braden. His parents, J.P. and Leanne say Dylan loves to build with Legos and Bionicles. He also loves anything related to space, castles, knights and dragons. He also enjoys drawing.

As a family, they like outdoor activities, stories, baking, movies and spending time with friends and family. They would like to thank everyone involved in Dance Marathon for all they do to support DeVos Children’s Hospital and the special children they serve.
