Why Dance Marathon? There are so many campus events, but what makes Dance Marathon unique? First, Dance Marathon is totally student-run. You will have the chance to provide a service to the community and develop your professional skills at the same time. Second, you will have the chance to meet children who have benefited from donations like yours in the past.

Involvement in Dance Marathon can occur in many ways. Apply for the Dream Team and be a part of the main committee that plans this event, or join one of the Dance Marathon committees. You can also help by collecting donations or planning a fundraiser. Be a dancer. Last year, there were approximately 300 dancers! Many dancers participate year after year, knowing that they make a difference in the lives of children. If you prefer, be a moraler. Moralers encourage and entertain the dancers throughout the 24 hours.

Dance Marathon gives students the opportunity to form lasting bonds with other students, faculty and staff, the community, and children at the hospital. In addition to meeting a lot of new people, you will also learn a lot about yourself as you work to make miracles happen for the kids at DeVos Children's Hospital.
