The Southland Award for Women

It is again time to select outstanding students who qualify for awards that are presented at our Honors Convocation.

Each year the SOUTHLAND AWARD is presented to a woman of the senior class.  As stated in the college catalog, "The Southland Award for Women is a gold medal given to the senior who, in the judgment of a faculty committee, has maintained the highest standard of all-around scholarship in several fields, character, and usefulness during the four years of her college course."

Full-time faculty makes the nominations for this award.  We seek your help in making this selection, and ask that you complete the online submission form with your nomination by Friday, March 8, 2013.
