Spring Rush 2010 is here! Our theme this year is Kappa Delta Chi On The Silver Screen. Below is our schedule:
Sunday, Jan. 24 Round Robin 1-4 PM Tuesday, Jan. 26 1st Open: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory 5-7PM Kappa Delta Chi Cottage Wednesday, Jan. 27 2nd Open: Slumdog Millionaire 9:20-11:20PM Nykerk 100 and 101 Saturday, Jan. 30 1st Closed: James Bond 2:10-4:10PM Meet at Kappa Delta Chi Cottage Monday, Feb. 1 3rd Open: Disney Princesses 6-8PM Kappa Delta Chi Cottage Thursday, Feb. 4 2nd Closed: Mulan 6:30-8:30PM Kappa Delta Chi Cottage Friday, Feb. 5 4th Open: Lilo and Stitch 8-10PM Meet at Kappa Delta Chi Cottage Saturday, Feb. 6 3rd Close: Mighty Ducks 1-4PM Meet at Kappa Delta Chi Cottage Monday, Feb. 8 5th Open: Pirates of the Caribbean 7-10PM Meet at Kappa Delta Chi Cottage Tuesday, Feb. 9 Final Tea 5-6PM Kappa Delta Chi Cottage Preference - 6:15 PM Our cottage is located at 107 East 14th Street behind Brumler Apartments and next to the parking lot. If you wish to attend an event and can't make it or will be arriving late, please drop off a note at our cottage or email us at kappadc@hope.edu 9/28/09Alumnae Reunion This past weekend we had about a dozen or so alumnae from the 90's come to visit. The ladies planned a reunion with each other and were kind enough to attend our Final Tea on Friday evening. Some of them came from as far as North Carolina! They made us lunch on Saturday so we all got a chance to get to know them and make some awesome connections. The alumnae were excited to go through old scrapbooks and look around the house. We had a small brunch with a few of them on Sunday morning and are going to stay in touch so we can organize another event like this in the future. We are having a fall rush program this year in September, 2009! The theme is "Going Greek with Kappa Delta Chi". Here is the schedule of events.
Monday, September 21: Greek Artisans 8-9pm, open event (anyone can come!) Tuesday, September 22: Dine Like a Goddess 7-8:30pm, open event, wear a toga! Thursday, September 24: Movie Night with Tula 9-11pm, open event, bring your nailpolish! Friday, September 25: Final Tea 6-7pm, closed event (invites will be handed out the night before), wear your sunday best! All events will take place at the Kappa Delta Chi cottage located on 14th street behind Brummler Apartments and next to the parking lot. Please arrive on time!
